In the pages of the Golden Age Captain Marvel, there was a sequence where they went into the future and the futuristic Captain Marvel was certainly different. His tights were reduced to shorts and he wore short sleeves. He did have a problem in that his powers were severely curtailed....... what had caused this loss of powers to him and how did he correct it?

The closest I can come to giving a hint about this question is that it ties in with the futuristic Captain Marvel's abbreviated costume.............

I see nobody is going to come up with an answer for this one. The answer has to do with the accelerated and abreviated future.....Captain Marvel was saying "SHAZ!" at that time thereby leaving off A for Achilles/Courage and Mercury/Speed and it deprived him of their powers. So by once again saying "SHAZAM!" He once again was all powerful.

You would have thought that someone with the wisdom of Solomon wouldn't have made some an obvious mistake in the first place. It's a good thing he didn't just say "Sh". He might have been arrested for indecent exposure. Holey Moley !
